There are different ways to install a fire rated door. The most popular one is using fixing anchors.<\/p>\n

To install the door with fixing anchors, follow these steps:<\/h3>\n

> Open the fixing anchors at 90\u00b0. Prepare the gap making the slits where the anchors will be fitted. Fig.1<\/b>.<\/p>\n

> With the leaf closed and without removing the protection elements, place the door inside the gap. For a correct functioning, the door must be flat and square, and well set. Fig. 2<\/b>.<\/p>\n

> Cover the frame all around with mortar or fast-setting cement. Check that it\u2019s well covered on the outside as well as on the inside.<\/p>\n

> Once it\u2019s completely set, remove the protection elements of the leaf. Fig. 3<\/b>.<\/p>\n

> If you want to take off the lower stiffener, remove it using a hammer and a chisel around the welded joints to the frame.<\/p>\n

> Finally, install the handles and paint the wall.<\/p>\n

Before finishing<\/h3>\n

> Check if the installation has been done correctly and the door functions accordingly.<\/p>\n

> Regulate the door if needed, leaving the correct installation clearance and respecting the established tolerance.<\/p>\n

> The door requires regular maintenance. Please follow the maintenance instructions for that purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n
